Rambling Thoughts

Hey everyone!! I'm up early!!! BY MYSELF without any alarms set...whoaaaa! How strange!! LOL

My feet are not happy. When you wake up with hurting feet you need to pay attention. I've been trying to ignore this, and I'll probably just go on today, too....but, more and more am considering getting them checked out. Losing weight would go a long way toward alievating my problem, I'm sure!

My dear hubby came home last night with 10 dozen ears of corn. I'd warned him last year to never bring that much home and expect me to do something with them....other than give them away. So, I have contacted four of my friends with this in mind...and thought of more that he contacted. We also had some for supper last night. ooooooooooohhh, it was sooooo good!!! One ear had enough kernels on it for two portions.

We did have a discussion on portion control again last night. Since he's doing most of the cooking, and I've been trying to get him to "see" what the proper portions are for this last year...well...2 of these ears were way too much food for him, as the 1 ear was too much for me! I've gained again...and, my weakness of staying within portions is an issue...if he cooks it, I'll more than likely eat it all.

OH! Dryer just turned off...I have to go get it...the jeans are needed for work this morning and I don't want to have to fluff them up again.

Hope you all have a wonderful day...I'm heading in for sales day again...can use some prayers for many pleasant customers and us to not injure ourselves with any dumb moves! LOL

it's Friday

It's Friday.
I actually woke up and got out of bed early today. Just a bit after 6am...wonders will never cease!! LOL
I have all of my flower gardens watered, just need to go turn the water off, replace the hose onto the reel...and, rake up where I also did some weeding earlier today.
Then...guess I'll break down and actually get ready for work...nah..think I'll put ice onto my toes first...then take my shower....
It's good to have a plan.....
