I know it's not mature to pout, but I really never looked forward to spending my 40Th wedding anniversary with both of us having bad colds. The hacking, sniffing, blowing type....and to add insult to this....his idea of how to spend tonight is to watch a ball game on TV.....not even a lousy movie watched together...grump!grump!grump!

It's Time For Another Change

Wonder what will be the direction the Nation takes now? And, how soon? Elections always bring about changes. No matter which way you voted, my belief is that the good Lord allows people to be voted into position for a reason. I'm just going to have to hope that we're not going to be a cautionary tale in the history books. As I frequently think after an election. LOL

So...now what? How many of your beliefs will be upheld by those in power soon, and how many will be jettisoned as backward ideas, narrow mindedness, or politically incorrect? Guess it's still to be seen.....life is always interesting....sometimes scary, sometimes exciting, but almost always interesting.

Time for the Rush to Begin!!

Today's the day that begins the frantic rush through Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. I'm a procrastinator that's attempting to reform my attitudes on this and that's why the term frantic rush is used. I'll be attempting to get my butt up from where ever and get some of these home blessing activities done before the first batch of guests come through the house.

Wish me luck!! I'm sooooo not good at achieving early results...I'm a master at last minute frenzied deep cleaning!! LOL I'd rather have the leisurely route this year through this trip....better go....work at the bookstore also has to fit into this...and, it's time to get there.
